Bhagyashree's acting here is not the best. She is good in some places. Dev Anand is impressive in the very first half itself as a hapless if not foolish father; he plays comedy with the best of them and does not let himself go to pieces. And when he does and his anger erupts upon the provocation of the world, he comes out as the best. As for the rest, it is a mere filler - apart from songs which are lilting, energetic and catchy.
